Hola chicos! I hope everyone is having a great week. I have good news to report about grades: I passed my history and politics exam! YIPPEEE! I will find out my international relations grade this coming Monday or Tuesday. It was harder, but I passed it too, I know. This weekend we had a very relaxed time. Mary has been taking riding lessons here and she had her first horse jumping show! It was a lot of fun, and I got really sunburned, yuck. The sun is definitely stronger here. I've had a good week, but it has been very busy week. I've joined a gym, so I am trying to go to that as much as I can in the mornings. Austin and I are still playing tennis (we played this morning). The weather is so beautiful, I had to take pictures when we were in the park last weekend. I will upload them asap, but here is a preview of one. Last Saturday we went to Katie Rae's house and cooked noquis and watched 16 Candles because her family has a DVD player. It was a real treat; I even took my house shoes! It was a lot of fun. This Saturday, everyone is coming over to meet the Lil Miester! We are making empanadas! I'm really excited about it, and I think Liliana is too. She had her friends over last night for cards, and they didn't leave until almost 1AM! They play cards, eat, and drink from about 4 PM to 1 AM, but only in "la casa de mujeres". The women who are married have to go home and cook dinner at 9, so only the single women/widows get to stay out later. Haha, it's quite funny to hear her explain this.
